Feature

Rewards your members redeem — at margins you chose.

A loyalty program's real cost isn't software; it's reward liability. The catalog is where you control it: what points buy, what each reward costs you, and where it gets redeemed. You set all three.

01 — How it works

The catalog, the counter, and the numbers

Define it once in the portal; members redeem at the kiosk or the register.

  • Threshold rewardsFree shaker at 100 points, $10 off at 340, free tub at 800 — ladders that give every balance a next goal.
  • Margin-aware by designHouse-brand product and accessories make a $10 reward cost you $4. We help you price the catalog during onboarding.
  • Kiosk + POS redemptionMembers see and claim rewards at the kiosk; staff apply them as line items in Shopify POS. No paper coupons.
  • Redemption analyticsSee which rewards move and which sit. A catalog nobody redeems from isn't saving you money — it's telling you nobody cares.
  • Every redemption loggedWho redeemed what, when, fulfilled by whom. Ties out against your reward liability.

02 — In practice

A healthy program wants redemptions

Counting unredeemed points as savings is the classic loyalty mistake — breakage isn't profit, it's apathy. Every redemption is a return visit with a basket around it, which is the entire economic engine of the program. The ROI worksheet covers how to fund the catalog (3–5% of tracked revenue is the sane band) and the reward-design mistakes that flip the math negative, like discounting your best sellers for your best customers.

Rewards also make the rest of the system legible to members: the kiosk shows "40 points from a free shaker" at every check-in, tier perks like free monthly body scans make status tangible, and the win-back text leads with what the member's balance is already worth. The catalog is the language your program speaks.

A starting catalog that works in practice: one attainable reward under 150 points (a shaker, a single-serve sampler) so new members taste redemption fast; one mid-ladder reward around 300–400 points with house-brand margin behind it; and one aspirational reward that makes the top tier feel like status. Watch the redemption analytics for a month, kill what doesn't move, and resist the urge to add a straight percentage discount on national brands — it's the most requested reward and the worst one for your P&L.

03 — Questions

Straight answers.

Can I change rewards and point costs later?

Anytime. Add seasonal rewards, retire ones that don't move, adjust point costs as your margins change. Existing balances are unaffected; the catalog is just what points can buy today.

How do members redeem in-store?

At the kiosk (claim, staff fulfill) or at checkout via the Shopify POS extension (staff apply the reward as a line item). Both paths log the redemption against the member.
